I am pleased to advise that the NSW Bailliage held the NSW regional heat of the Young Sommelier’s Competition on 23 May 2011 The competition consisted of written examination.
Four talented and knowledgeable young sommeliers from major Sydney restaurants and hotels competed and we look forward to the decision of the judges in a few days.
A special thank you to Tony Jones from Jones Donald Strategy Partners for providing the premises for the competition.
Following this:
- The National Final will be held in Melbourne on 23 July.
- The international competition will be held on 16 September in Athens, Greece.
