Daniel Wegener from Quay Restaurant, NSW will represent Australia at the international Young Sommeliers Competition in Athens. Daniel scored extremely well in his written examination and the national judges considered that this result, together with his experience will well equip him for the international competition.
The international competition will be held on 16 September in Athens, Greece. A program of events in Athens will be held from 14 to 17 September. These include a welcome dinner, visits to wineries and a Gala dinner.
